Japan Exchange Group: Regarding Media Reports On Tokyo Stock Exchange Regulation's President
Today, certain media reported on a change of President at Tokyo Stock Exchange Regulation (TSER), a subsidiary of Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX). However, the board of directors of JPX and board of governors of TSER have not made any decision, nor has JPX released any information on the matter reported at present.

Japan Exchange Group & Korea Exchange Sign A Letter Of Intent (LOI)
Today, Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) and Korea Exchange Inc. (KRX) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to aim for listing TOPIX Options on KRX. Moving forward, both parties will make preparations for the listing of Korean won-denominated TOPIX Options on KRX.

Shandong, Shanghai Stock Exchange Ink All-round Cooperation Agreement
On April 22, the Shandong Provincial People’s Government and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) sign a memorandum on comprehensive strategic cooperation in Jinan, Shandong Province. Sun Wei, Standing Member of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Executive Deputy Governor of Shandong Province, and Gui Minjie, SSE Governor, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches. Li Yongjian, Chief of the Financial Work Office of Shandong Province, and Xu Ming, SSE Vice President, on behalf of the two sides, signed the memorandum. On the very day, the Financial Work Office of Shandong Province and the SSE jointly held a training workshop on the capital market in Jinan.

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Seeks Court Orders Against Founder And Former Chairman Of First Natural Foods
The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has commenced legal proceedings in the Court of First Instance against Mr Yeung Chung Lung, founder and former chairman of First Natural Foods Holdings Limited (First Natural Foods) over alleged embezzlement of $84 million of corporate assets and false accounting.

ISDA Publishes Market Agreed Coupon Confirmation For Interest Rate Swaps
The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) today announced the publication of a form of confirmation for a Market Agreed Coupon (MAC) contract as an additional choice for market participants who wish to use over-the-counter (OTC) interest rate swaps (IRS) that have common, pre-agreed terms. The announcement came at the outset of the Association’s 28th Annual General Meeting in Singapore.

SIFMA’s Asset Management Group Helps Develop New Market Agreed Coupon For Interest Rate Swaps
SIFMA today announced that SIFMA’s Asset Management Group (AMG), working in collaboration with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), has helped to develop a new interest rate swap (IRS) contract structure with pre-defined, market-agreed terms. Specifically, SIFMA AMG published a term sheet and rationale for a new Market Agreed Coupon (MAC) contract that would promote liquidity and enhance transparency in IRS trading.
