SEC Announces Whistleblower Award Of More Than $1.7 Million
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced a whistleblower award of more than $1.7 million to a company insider who provided the agency with critical information to help stop a fraud that would have otherwise been difficult to detect. Millions of dollars were returned to harmed investors as a result of the SEC’s ensuing investigation and enforcement action.

Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul): Amending The Trading Commissions For Tradable Rights And Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
In reference to CMA’s resolution of amending trading commissions for listed shares, published on 30/6/2016. The CMA has approved amending the trading commissions for Tradable Rights and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to be as the trading commissions for Listed Shares and Real Estate Investment Funds (REITs) as per the previous resolution. Accordingly, trading commissions for Tradable Rights and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are to equal (0.00155) one hundred and fifty five in one hundred thousand, which equals (15.5) points (Base Values) of the transaction's value, starting from 19/12/1438H corresponding to 10/9/2017.

EBA Publishes Final Guidelines On Major Incident Reporting Under PSD2
The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today the Final Guidelines on major incident reporting under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2). The Guidelines were developed in close cooperation with the European Central Bank (ECB), are addressed to all payment services providers and competent authorities in the 28 EU Member States, and contribute to the objective of the PSD2 of minimizing disruption to users, payment service providers and payment systems.

Thomson Reuters Readies Market Participants For New FX Derivatives Requirements Under MiFID II - Company Enhances FXall And FX Trading Desktops And Begins Customer Onboarding To Its Regulated Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) To Support Compliant Trading Of FX Derivatives On FXall And Thomson Reuters Matching
Thomson Reuters has completed enhancements to its FXall and FX Trading desktops to ensure clients trading on Thomson Reuters Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) remain fully compliant with the new MiFID II execution requirements for FX derivatives that will take effect in January 2018. The enhancements enable Thomson Reuters to add MTF-support for FX forwards, swaps, NDFs and options trading on FXall as well as continue support for swaps trading on Thomson Reuters Matching.
