Bursa Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur Composite Index Futures Trading On Derivatives Market Affected For 11 Minutes, Resumption Swift
Trading on the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index Futures (FKLI), which was briefly disrupted this afternoon at 2:31pm, resumed normal trading at 2:42pm. The disruption was due to an application issue faced by the trading system which was speedily addressed.

CESR published yesterday two letters, one to the IASB on Revenue Recognition in Contracts with Customers, and one to the European Financial Reporting Aadvisory Group (EFRAG) regarding EFRAG’s draft comment letter on the IASB’s Exposure Draft ‘Income Tax’.

Bolsas Y Mercados Españoles Obtains A Net Profit Of €47.8 Million In The Second Quarter - It Represents A 42% Increase From The First Quarter Of 2009
Stripping out extraordinary revenues, quarterly net profit would have been 2.1% up on the first quarter. From January to June BME’s net profit exceeded €81 million. Revenue in the second quarter reached €90.9 million, up 9.4% from the same quarter in 2008. EBITDA in the second quarter stood at €60.2 million, up 4.2% from the same quarter the previous year. ROE improves from 37.3% in the second quarter 2008 to 39.4% in the second quarter of 2009.

SIFMA Survey Forecasts Total Net Treasury Issuance To Continue To Rise On Budget Deficit Projection

CBOE Announces Solid Second Quarter 2009 Financial Results - Revenues, Net Income Rise 12% And 11%, Respectively, As CBOE Continues To Fund Growth Initiatives
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced financial results for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2009.
