Good Operating Result For SIX
Despite negative economic forecasts, SIX achieved good results in 2012. The Group profit rose by 46.5% to CHF 320.1 million year on year. The increase primarily reflects the proceeds from the sale of the Eurex holding and higher financial income. However, adjusted for the Eurex influence and special effects from the prior year, operating income was at the same level as in 2011, the operating profit rose by CHF34.2 million or 21.3% to CHF 194.8 million.

TABB Group Sees US Futures Volume Increasing 12% In 2013
According to new TABB Group research, “US Futures Market: State of the Industry 2013,” written by Matt Simon, senior analyst, investment activity improved slightly in the fourth quarter but similar to the rest of the year, futures volumes remained steady throughout 2012.

NASDAQ Announces Mid-Month Open Short Interest Positions In NASDAQ Stocks As Of Settlement Date March 15, 2013
At the end of the settlement date of March 15, 2013, short interest in 2,120 NASDAQ Global MarketSM securities totaled 7,278,906,126 shares compared with 7,110,471,305 shares in 2,128 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of February 28, 2013. The mid-March short interest represents 4.24 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.03 days for the prior reporting period.

Statement At The End Of The IMF Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) Mission To Italy
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission, headed by Dimitri Demekas, visited Italy during January 14-31 and March 12-26, 2013, to conduct an assessment under the IMF’s Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP).
