London Stock Exchange Group plc (“LSEG””) announces that at its General Meeting, held today, relating to the revised offer for a majority stake in LCH.Clearnet Group Limited (“LCH.Clearnet”), the resolution to approve such revised offer and the related capital raise (together, the “Transaction”), and to authorise the directors of the Company to take all necessary steps to implement the Transaction, was duly passed by LSEG shareholders on a poll.

UK's Financial Services Authority Fines Prudential £30 Million And Censures CEO For Failing To Inform Regulator Of 2010 Acquisition Plans
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined companies in the Prudential Group (Prudential) a total of £30 million for breaching FSA Principles and UKLA Listing Principles. The fines relate to Prudential’s failure to inform the FSA at the appropriate time that it was seeking to acquire AIA, the Asian subsidiary of AIG, in early 2010. The FSA has also censured Tidjane Thiam, Prudential’s Group Chief Executive.
