EEX And Global Dairy Trade Sign Letter Of Intent To Evaluate A New Auction Mechanism For Dairy Products In Europe
The European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Global Dairy Trade (GDT) today signed a Letter of Intent to evaluate the possibility of working together to set up and operate an auction mechanism for dairy products originating in Europe.

Earnings Growth Of Companies Listed In Shenzhen Market Hit 3-year High
As of August 31, 2017, companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) have duly disclosed the 2017 semi-annual reports on schedule. The average gross revenue of listed companies reaches CNY2.28 billion in the first six months, up by 26.39% compared with the same period in 2016, and average net profits attributable to shareholders of the parent company rises by 25.25% to CNY163 million compared with 2016. The average gross revenue of listed companies excluding those in the financial industry grows by 26.25% and net profits by 28.57%, which are the highest growth rates over the last three years, reflecting a stably developing economy. The multi-layer capital market is prosperous with the main board, SME board and ChiNext board in various stages of development.

Singapore And Chongqing Explore New Frontiers For Financial Connectivity And Innovation
Financial regulators and private sector participants from Singapore and Chongqing discussed today, at the second Singapore-China (Chongqing) Financial Conference (SCFC) in Chongqing, opportunities for deeper financial collaboration between the two cities. The areas discussed include financing infrastructure projects under the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting cross-border asset securitisation, and developing insurance and risk management solutions to support investment.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) held the 2nd Meeting of the 4th Board of Directors on 31 August, 2017. DGCX Currency Volumes See An Uptick In August As Single Stock Futures Pick-Up Steam - The Exchange Ends Summer On A Fruitful Note With Volume Hike On Its Key Products And Move Towards Launching Region’s First Sharia-Compliant Spot Gold Contract
Despite the summer being a typically slow period for markets, the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) witnessed an uptick in trading volumes in key products, predominantly driven by increased investor interest in the Exchange’s offerings in Euro Futures, INR Options and Indian Single Stock Futures. The Exchange has strategically used the summer months to roll-out several initiatives focused on product development and partnerships aimed at strengthening its presence in the regional financial markets.

OneChicago Announces Trading Volume For August 2017
OneChicago, LLC (OCX), a securities finance exchange, today announced its August 2017 volume of 1,232,957, an increase of 20% year-over-year. OneChicago is a CFTC and SEC regulated exchange offering Single Stock Futures (SSF), a Delta One product, on approximately 1,800 equities, including ADRs and ETFs.
