UAE Securities And Commodities Authority Launches A New Service On Its Website To Help Shareholders Inquire About Unclaimed Dividends Dating Back To Before March 2015
As part of its efforts to ensure that shareholders of locally listed public joint stock companies claim their dividends dating back to before March 2015, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) announced the launch of a new service on its website, www.sca.gov.ae, that helps shareholders check to see if their names are among those entitled to dividends in an easy and simplified manner.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore Imposes Composition Penalty Of S$2.5 Million On Swiss-Asia Financial Services Pte. Ltd. For AML/CFT Breaches, Reprimands Its CEO And COO
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has imposed a composition penalty of S$2.5 million on Swiss-Asia Financial Services Pte. Ltd. (SAFS) for breaches of MAS’ anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) requirements. MAS has also issued a reprimand to SAFS’ chief executive officer (CEO), Mr Olivier Pascal Mivelaz, and its chief operating officer (COO), Mr Steve Knabl, for failing to discharge their duties and functions of ensuring that SAFS complied with MAS’ AML/CFT requirements.
