London Stock Exchange's New Retail Bond Market Goes Live - Broad Support For New Platform
The London Stock Exchange today launched its new electronic Order book for Retail Bonds. Introduced in response to strong private investor demand for greater access to fixed income, it offers continuous two-way pricing for trading in UK gilts and retail-size corporate bonds on-exchange for the first time.

Good afternoon. I thank the American Bar Association’s Committee on Derivatives and Futures Law for inviting me to speak today. This morning, I visited some friends that I made a couple years ago in Immokalee, which is about an hour east of here. Immokalee is Florida’s largest farm working community. About 95 percent of the tomatoes you eat in the United States between October and June come from Florida, with many of them grown in Immokalee.

Minnesota Resident Trevor Cook Incarcerated For Violating Court Orders In CFTC Anti-Fraud Action Charging Him In $190 Million Foreign Currency Fraud
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced that Minnesota federal Chief Judge Michael J. Davis incarcerated CFTC defendant Trevor G. Cook on January 25, 2010, for violating the court’s asset freeze order against him by dissipating funds and failing to surrender more than $35 million in assets. The court had ordered the asset freeze in connection with a CFTC civil anti-fraud action.
