27% Of Financial Services Practitioners More Optimistic For UK Prospects Than Three Months Ago – CISI Survey
There has been a downturn in confidence in the UK economy, a CISI survey shows. Of more than 320 respondents, 27% said they were more optimistic for the country’s prospects than three months ago. There was increased pessimism among 28% while 45% felt unchanged about the economic outlook.

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission: Court Of Appeal Upholds Du Jun’s Insider Dealing Convictions

HKEx: Reappointment Of Chief Executive Approved
As announced by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEx”) on 12 September 2012, the Board of Directors of HKEx approved the renewal of the employment contract of Mr Li Xiaojia, Charles (“Mr Li”) as the Chief Executive of HKEx for a further 3-year term from 16 October 2012 to 15 October 2015. Pursuant to Section 70 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, the Securities and Futures Commission has today given its written approval of the reappointment.

Deutsche Börse: DAX Licensed To Hua An Asset Management To Underlie Exchange-Traded Fund In China - Hua An DAX ETF Will Be The First ETF Based On German Blue-Chip Index Available In China
Deutsche Börse today announced that the DAX index has been licensed to Hua An Asset Management Co. Ltd., one of the longest running fund management companies in China, to serve as the basis for an exchange-traded fund (ETF). This is the first time that DAX will underlie an ETF available in China. The CEOs of STOXX Limited and Hua An Asset Management gathered at an official signing ceremony in Shanghai today to mark this occasion.

Neonet Brings Transparency Into The Dark
Neonet, the independent execution services provider, today announced a new dark algorithm and additional access to dark venues. The new dark executing algorithm automatically scans connected dark pools using parallel execution strategies through a single simple interface. Enhanced safeguarding mechanisms prevent information leakage as well as unwanted executions, providing further benefit to the user.
