ICE Reports 17% Increase In March Daily Futures Volume
IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global markets and clearing houses, today reported futures volume for March and the first quarter of 2013. ICE's average daily volume (ADV) for futures and options for March 2013 was 3,808,927 contracts, an increase of 17% from the prior March. Total contract volume in March 2013 was 76 million. All prior period contract volumes have been adjusted to include the transitioned futures contracts, which previously traded in ICE's OTC markets.

Boerse Stuttgart Records Turnover Of Around EUR 7.8 Billion In March - Strong Growth For Equities And Investment Fund Units - Transaction Volume In Debt Instrument Trading Remains High
According to its order book statistics, Boerse Stuttgart generated turnover of around EUR 7.8 billion in March 2013, slightly up on the figure for February. Securitised derivatives accounted for the largest share of turnover, with a traded volume of around EUR 3.3 billion. The total volume of investment products traded in March was about EUR 1.9 billion.

Trading On The Warsaw Stock Exchange: March 2013
- The value of total trading in equities on the Main Market was PLN 24.0 billion in March 2013, an increase of 21.5% year on year.
- Total trading on the Main Market year to date in 2013 increased by 19.9% year on year.
- Average daily trading per session on the Main Market was PLN 938.2 million in March 2013, an increase of 7.6% year on year.
- The total volume of trading in index futures decreased to 900 thousand contracts in March 2013 (-5.2% YoY) but the average volume per session increased by 4.3%.
- The volume of forward transactions on the WSE Group electricity markets reached 10.5 TWh in March 2013, an increase of 118.2% year on year.
- The monthly volume of trading in property rights increased by 15.5% year on year in March 2013 from 4.4 TWh to 5.1 TWh.
- The aggregate volume of spot and forward transactions in natural gas was 156.7 GWh in March 2013 and over 191.7 GWh in Q1 2013.

IMF Reaches Staff-Level Agreement With Cyprus On A €1 Billion Extended Fund Facility Arrangement
Ms. Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), issued the following statement today on Cyprus:
“A staff team of the International Monetary Fund has reached staff level agreement with the Cypriot authorities on an economic program that will be supported by the IMF jointly with the European Union and the European Central Bank. A combined financing package of €10 billion (about US$13 billion) is designed to help Cyprus cover its financing needs, including to service debt obligations, while it implements the policies needed to restore the health of the economy and regain access to capital market financing.

Indian Energy Exchange Enters Into International Tie-Up With The European Power Exchange (EPEX SPOT)
The Indian Energy Exchange (IEX), India’s No.1 Energy Exchange has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the European Power Exchange (EPEX SPOT) on 16 February, 2013. EPEX SPOT is the marketplace for short-term power trading in France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Under the proposed tie-up, both companies will work closely together on identifying opportunities that aim at enhancing information and knowledge sharing on the development of electricity trading through competitive market platforms. IEX and EPEX SPOT will also share experience of electricity market operations, explore market development opportunities and identify training opportunities for IEX personnel as well as for the market participants in the form of direct training or joint training programs in India and neighboring countries.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announces that it will add a supervisory sign, “XB” (excluding other benefits), to inform investors that buying a stock carrying the XB sign will not be entitled to receive some benefits, effective from May 2, 2013, said SET Senior Vice President and Head of Market Operations, Chanisa Chutipat.
