London Stock Exchange: January Average Daily Value Traded Up 14 Per Cent - Trading Growth In Italian Equities, Fixed Income And ETFs And ETCs
The average daily value traded across London Stock Exchange Group’s equity markets during January increased 14 per cent year on year to £7.1 billion (€8.0 billion). The average daily number of trades was 831,892, six per cent lower than January 2009.

European Multilateral Clearing Facility Reaches New Record Of 5m Daily Transactions - Increase Of 20% Above Previous Record
European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF) once again reached a new milestone as the number of trades cleared surpassed 5 million in a single day for the first time on Friday, 6 February, 2010. The new record is 20% higher than the previous high of 4 million reached on 22 January 2010.

NASDAQ OMX Launches INET Trading System Across Its Seven Markets In The Nordics and Baltics
The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) reports today that it successfully rolled out the INET trading system in all seven of its equities markets in the Nordics (Copenhagen, Helsinki, Iceland and Stockholm) and the Baltics (Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius).

NYSE Technologies and four leading ASEAN equities exchanges--Bursa Malaysia (BM), the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Singapore Exchange (SGX) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)--today during the 10th ASEAN Exchanges CEO's Meeting in Manila signed a Letter of Intent that designates NYSE Technologies as the solutions provider for the ASEAN Trading Link. Four ASEAN exchanges, namely Bursa Malaysia (BM), the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Singapore Exchange (SGX) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) signed a Letter of Intent with NYSE Technologies today, appointing it as a solution provider to commence the design of the technology solution for the ASEAN Trading Link.
