ETF Securities: Equity ETF Review 2009
Global equity markets rallied strongly in 2009, with resource-related equities leading the charge. The rally took place following severe market declines in 2H 2008 and 1Q 2009 caused by the worst financial crisis in 50 years. All of the long equity ETFs on the ETFX platform performed strongly, with the ETFX Global Coal Mining Fund (COAL) leading the pack with a 138% return.

Overseas investor participation in the securities market of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) remained high despite the market downturn during the global financial crisis, according to HKEx's Cash Market Transaction Survey 2008/09 (covering HKEx's securities market turnover from October 2008 to September 2009).

Brady plc (BRY.L), the leading supplier of trading and risk management solutions for metals and commodities, has announced another successful trading year. Preqin: Sovereign Wealth Funds Total Assets Grow To $3.51 Trillion Market Recovery In 2009 Helps Some Funds To Increase AUM - Others Subject To Government Withdrawals
Preqin’s latest report, the 2010 Preqin Sovereign Wealth Fund Review, reveals that the aggregate total assets of all sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) has continued to increase over the past year. The recovery in global equities markets helped certain SWFs regain ground lost as a result of the economic downturn. However, some funds have been used by national governments to cover budget deficits and support financial institutions.

PLUS Announces February Reported Flow - The Exchange Continues To Focus On Serving Retail Market Needs
Reported flow on the PLUS stock exchange held steady for the month of February. PLUS saw 450,160 trades valued at £3.34 billion with number of shares at 5.79 billion, an increase of 11.57% in volumes against February 2009.

Over 100 Structured Products Listed On The Warsaw Stock Exchange
