Polish PZU's IPO Attracts 140 Thousand New Investors
The number of securities accounts operated by the National Depository for Securities Poland (KDPW) Participants grew by 140 thousand in April 2010. The very high increase in the number of accounts was driven by the biggest IPO in the history of the Polish capital market: the offering of PZU – insurance company - worth more than PLN 8 billion (ca EUR 2 billion). Banks and brokerage houses operated 1,280,372 accounts at the end of April.

NYSE Euronext Announces European Clearing Strategy - New, Purpose-Built Clearing Houses To Be Established In London And Paris Clearing Relationship With LCH.Clearnet Group To Cease In 2012
NYSE Euronext today announced that, subject to regulatory approval, it will commence clearing its European securities and derivatives business through two new, purpose-built, clearing houses based in London and Paris in late 2012. LCH.Clearnet Ltd in London and LCH.Clearnet SA in Paris have been informed that NYSE Euronext’s current contractual arrangements for clearing with them will terminate accordingly at that time. No termination fees or penalties will be payable.

Changes To The Composition Of The Oslo Børs Benchmark Index (OSEBX)
Oslo Børs has revised the composition of the Benchmark Index (OSEBX). With effect from 1 June 2010, shares in 7 companies will be removed from the index, while 12 companies will be added to the index. The number of companies included in the index will be 58.

NYSE Euronext Clearing Services
LCH.Clearnet Group Ltd (LCH.Clearnet), the leading independent clearing house group, has been informed by NYSE Euronext that, from late 2012, NYSE Euronext intends to begin clearing for its European securities and derivative markets.
