  • Kuwait Stock Exchange Trading Report For October 2001

    The index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange reached 1,659.7 points at the end of October, an increase of 59.8 points from the closing value at the end September. The weighted index reached 127.14 points at the end of October, an increase of 3.86 points from the closing value at the end of September.

  • HKFE Announces Revised Levies For Stock Futures And International Stock Futures Contracts

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced today (Thursday) that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 16 November, the SFC Levy on Stock Futures and International Stock Futures contracts will be reduced from $1.00 to $0.20 and the Compensation Fund Levy will be reduced from $0.50 to $0.10.

  • Forstædernes Bank Becomes A Member Of The Copenhagen Stock Exchange

    Forstædernes Bank has become a member of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and commences trading on Monday 10 December. Forstædernes Bank is the twelfth new member of the Stock Exchange this year, and there are now 49 active member firms.

This list is valid for replacements that would occur from Friday 16 November up to and including Friday 14 December 2001 after trading hours.   • CME Revises Month-End Settlement For Equity Indexes, Returning To Regular 3:15 P.M. (Central Time) Close With 'Fair Value' Settlement

    Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) will revise its month-end settlement procedures for equity index products beginning Nov. 30, returning the products to their normal daily closing time of 3:15 p.m. (Central Time). CME will continue to employ a "fair-value" settlement procedure for domestic equity index futures contracts on the last trading day of every month.

  • CBOT Sets Nov. 16 Launch Of DJ-AIG Commodity Index<SUP>SM</SUP> Futures

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®), DowSMJones IndexesSM and AIG Trading Group Inc. (AIG Trading), a member company of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), will launch a futures contract on the DowSMJones-AIG Commodity IndexSM (DJ-AIGCI) on November 16, on the CBOT®'s electronic trading platform.

  • BT Demerger Prompts FTSE Reshuffle

    FTSE, the global index group, confirm tonight constituent changes to the FTSE 100, the UK's leading benchmark index. BT Group plc and mmO2 plc, the two companies created from the British Telecommunications demerger, will both become constituents of the FTSE 100. To make way for the new company, United Business Media, which is the smallest ranking stock in the FTSE 100 at tonight's market close, will move to the FTSE 250.
