Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Launches Investment Literacy Initiative - ADX Seeks A Sustainable Solution To Improving Investment Literacy In The UAE With The Launch Of Its Investment Literacy Survey
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) today announced the launch of an investment literacy survey. ADX has issued a questionnaire to assess the investment knowledge and understanding of UAE-based active and early-stage investors. The questionnaire results will be used to create an investor literacy index, and provide a demographic analysis and results on which improved market awareness campaigns and investor education programs can be constructed.

NYSE Euronext Announces Trading Volumes For November 2009 - European Interest Rate Products ADV Increases 31.2% Versus Prior Year - U.S. Options ADV Increases 50.6%, Market Share Increases To 24.7%
NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for November 2009[1]. Trading volumes in November 2009 were mixed, with European derivatives products trading volumes increasing 16.4% and U.S. options trading volumes increasing 50.6% versus prior year. NASDAQ Dubai Monthly Trading Report: November 2009
Trading volumes of Dubai Gold Securities (DGS) rose to a monthly record of 40,668 on NASDAQ Dubai in November, more than three times the previous high of 12,844 recorded in May. A total of 80,881 DGS have traded since the securities listed in March 2009.

Trading At The Dalian Commodity Exchange Hits New Record Levels
On December 7th, total single-day trading volume, turnover and open interest at the DCE all reached new record levels. Total trading volume reached 7,087,108 contracts, surpassing the previous record of 6,701,668 contracts set on August 13th, 2009.
