For the Vancouver workshop, Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange have collaborated with AME BC, Angel Forum and BCTIA, as well as BDO Canada LLP, CIBC World Markets Inc., Clark Wilson LLP, Haywood Securities Inc., McCullough O'Connor Irwin LLP and PI Financial Corp.
In 2011, Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange welcomed 480 new Canadian issuers, and equity capital raised was $51.1 billion on the exchanges. As of September 30, 2012 the Exchanges were third in the world for equity capital raised according to the World Federation of Exchanges.
