Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc, announced today that the daily trading volume of all the listed commodities hit the highest of the year with 192,767 contracts. The volume reached the 190,000 level for the first time since December 15, 2011.
The Exchange estimates that the market has been driven by the gold price advancement, which picked up in the light of the third quantitative easing by the US Federal Reserve Bank.
