Mr Seck Wai Kwong, current CFO, will continue to lead the Strategy and Business Development Group, which is responsible for developing the Exchange’s strategic direction and new business ventures. In addition, he will direct the execution of the overthe- counter (OTC) clearing businesses and the recently announced joint venture with Chicago Board of Trade. His move underscores the commitment of SGX to create new revenue streams in the areas of OTC clearing, and commodities trading and clearing. Mr Seck, along with Mr Gan Seow Ann, was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President in November 2005.

Robert will bring to SGX more than 20 years of valuable market experience spanning the US, Europe, Asia and Australia, in corporate finance, banking and financial services.”
Prior to joining SGX, Mr van Zwieten spent 3 years at Lehman Brothers in the firm’s headquarters in New York where he held several positions, amongst others Senior Vice President & Chief Administration Officer – Global Treasury, responsible for global treasury operations in London, New York and Tokyo. At Lehman Brothers, he also led a team managing firm-wide relationships with more than 80 banks worldwide and spearheaded a group to conceive and initiate a broad slate of business process reengineering and strategic cost-reduction initiatives.
As the Global Treasurer at GE Energy, based in Atlanta, Mr van Zwieten established a broad range of global treasury operations, focused on global FX risk management and acquisition due diligence, funding and integration. As Treasurer Asia Pacific for GE Capital, based in Hong Kong, he led and managed the treasury activities for all GE Capital businesses in the Asia Pacific region through most of the Asian economic crisis.
Mr van Zwieten has also held several positions in the Singapore, Chicago and Amsterdam offices of ABN Amro Bank NV.
Mr van Zwieten received an MBA at the University of Chicago - Graduate School of Business, holds Juris Doctor and Master of Arts degrees from Leiden University in the Netherlands and has a Master of Law degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York.
