28 November- SOPHARMA AD (Bulgaria)
The Group is a leading, vertically integrated Bulgarian producer, exporter and distributor of pharmaceutical products with a strong position in Eastern Europe and South-Eastern Europe and offers a broad range of prescription and OTC drugs
SOPHARMA is the 38th foreign company and the first Bulgarian company listed on the WSE Main Market.
Key Events
The WSE published its Q3 2011 results on 9 November. The WSE Group closed Q3 2011 with record-high sales revenues exceeding PLN 70.4 million and a net profit of PLN 38.1 million, an increase of PLN 15.9 million year on year.

New single-stock futures were introduced to the WSE’s offering in November. Futures on the stock of TVN, JSW, Lubelski WÄ™giel Bogdanka and GTC are in trading since 2 November and futures on the stock of Kernel Holding since 28 November. Kernel Holding is the first foreign company whose stock is the underlying of futures traded on the WSE.

The WSE signed market data distribution agreements with Deutsche Bank PBC and Xignite (USA) in November.
Deutsche Bank PBC will offer investors access to data from the WSE Main Market and NewConnect.
Xignite offers clients financial services covering data from many different world markets and provides specialty technology solutions.
At the end of November 2011, the number of WSE data vendors increased to 57, including 37 domestic and 20 foreign data vendors (in the UK, the USA, Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Slovakia).
Conferences and Seminars
The 4th Annual Derivatives World CEE conference organised by FOW – The Global Derivatives Magazine took place in Warsaw on 8 November.
The conference featured a debate entitled “Listed Derivatives Market Update: Exchange Heads Panel Discussion” with the participation of the WSE CEO and representatives of the Turkish Stock Exchange, the Hungarian Stock Exchange, RTS Stock Exchange (Russia), and the CEO of the National Depository for Securities.

The 11th European Corporate Governance Conference (ECGC) was organised by the WSE together with main partner PwC as part of the Polish Presidency on 14-16 November. The European Corporate Governance Conference is always held in the country of the EU Presidency.
The highlights of the 11th ECGC included the launch of the Green Paper at a conference and on the European Commission website.

The 1st WSE International Companies’ Forum organised by the Warsaw Stock Exchange took place on 23 November. The conference brought together 17 foreign companies listed on the WSE and 40 financial institutions: investment funds, pension funds and brokers.

The fourth edition of the international conference WARSAW - CEE FINANCIAL HUB took place on the Trading Floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange on 30 November. The event was co-hosted by The Warsaw Voice and International Herald Tribune.
