Daniel L. Gibson, president, Wolcott & Lincoln Futures, LLC, has automatically advanced from the post of second vice chairman in 2004 to first vice chairman in 2005. Gibson has a long record of service to the exchange. He served three terms as a director of the KCBT Clearing Corp., from 1984 to 1985, from 1993 to 1994, and from 2000 to 2001. He has also served three terms as an exchange director, from 1987 to1988, from 1995 to 1996, and from 2002 to 2003. He was a director of the BOT Investment Co. in 1990 and 1991 and was treasurer of the exchange in 1993 and 1994. Gibson has been an exchange member since 1974.
H. Franklin Stone, vice president, Man Financial Inc., has been elected as second vice chairman. Stone served two terms as a director of the KCBT Clearing Corp., from 1987 to 1988 and 2004. He served as president of the Clearing Corp. in 1988 and 2004. He served two terms as an exchange director, from 1989 to 1990 and 2004. He was a director of the BOT Investment Co. in 1999 through 2001, where he served as president in 2000. Stone has been an exchange member since 1981.
The exchange also elected the following members to two-year terms on the board of directors: Paul Norris, an individual member; Timothy W. Bauer, Prudential Financial Derivatives, LLC; Donald E. Hills, General Mills Operations, Inc.; Michael L. Dean, Cargill, Inc.; Randall O. Wallace, FCStone, L.L.C.; and Paul J. Dow, an individual member.
They join the following directors serving the second year of two-year terms: Mark T. Owens, an individual member; Robert J. Rixey, an individual member; John J. Kearney, an individual member; James P. Sullivan, Man Financial Inc.; and Thomas R. Grabowsky, an individual member. Charles L. Elsea, The Scoular Company, joined the board of directors during 2004 and will serve another year.
The new officers and directors will take office at the next regular board meeting, scheduled for January 25.
