JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC, a leading block trading firm in U.S. and international securities for its institutional customer base, announced today that industry veteran Bryan Turley has been named Managing Director of JonesTrading’s Capital Markets Group.
For 40 years, JonesTrading has been focused on providing the most efficient solutions for equity transactions, both between institutional investors and on behalf of public corporations seeking financing. Using its network of global institutional investors JonesTrading removes many of the costs and conflicts of the traditional investment banking model, allowing public companies to more efficiently raise capital.
JonesTrading bases its Capital Markets Group on the relationship and block trading model that has driven the firm for 40 years. Mr. Turley has over two decades of international experience in investment banking, capital markets, and private equity. Prior to joining JonesTrading, he served as Principal and Head of the Financial Institutions Group for MLV & Co., and served on MLV’s Engagement and Investment Committees, as well as a key leader of the Management Committee. Before MLV he was CEO of the Sorrento Group, a private equity firm that focused on U.S. and UK multi-family strategies. Earlier in his career he worked for Anglo Irish Bank and NCB a division of Royal Bank of Scotland.
