- The value of the Electronic Order Book[1] in equities on the Main Market was PLN 16.6 billion in April 2015, an increase of 15.5% year on year.
- The total value of trading on NewConnect was PLN 172.2 million in April 2015, an increase of 74.2% year on year.
- The value of bond issues listed on Catalyst was PLN 65.7 billion at the end of April 2015, an increase of 3.2% year on year.
- The total volume of trading in electricity was 17.7 TWh in April 2015, an increase of 16.9% year on year.
- The volume of trading in property rights to certificates of origin nearly doubled year on year to 4.7 TWh in April 2015.

The value of the Electronic Order Book in equities on the Main Market was PLN 16.6 billion in April 2015, an increase of 15.5% year on year. The average daily value of the Electronic Order Book in January-April 2015 was PLN 836.9 million per session while the average daily number of transactions increased by 2.7% to 63.1 thousand in January-April 2015.
The total value of trading on NewConnect stood at PLN 172.2 million in April 2015, an increase of 74.2% year on year. The value of the Electronic Order Book in equities on NewConnect increased by 69.6% year on year to PLN 157.0 million in April 2015.
The volume of trading in index futures was 253.0 thousand contracts in April 2015. 20 June 2014 was the last trading day of WIG20 futures contracts with a multiplier of PLN 10. Only WIG20 futures contracts with a multiplier of PLN 20 are in trading as of 23 June 2014. For data comparability, the historical volume of trading in WIG20 futures with a multiplier of PLN 10 (before 23 June 2014) was divided by 2 in the index contract line of the table attached to the press release. After the correction, the volume of trading in index futures increased by 4.0% year on year in April 2015.
The volume of trading in other futures (single-stock, currency, interest rate futures) was 301.9 thousand contracts in April 2015 and more than doubled year on year.
The value of bond issues listed on Catalyst was PLN 65.7 billion at the end of April 2015, an increase of 3.2% year on year.
The value of cash transactions on TBSP decreased by 16.3% year on year to PLN 17.7 billion in April 2015.
The volume of forward transactions in electricity was 15.6 TWh in April 2015, an increase of 18.5% year on year. The volume of spot transactions increased by 6.1% year on year to 2.1 TWh in April 2015. The total volume of trade in electricity increased by 11.9% year on year to 63.4 TWh in January-April 2015.
The volume of trading in property rights to certificates of origin nearly doubled year on year to 4.7 TWh in April 2015.
The total volume of spot and forward transactions in gas was 7.6 TWh in April 2015, compared to 0.6 TWh in April 2014.
The capitalisation of 422 domestic companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 648.9 billion (EUR 160.9 billion) at the end of April 2015. The capitalisation at the end of April 2014 was PLN 607.2 billion (EUR 144.6 billion).
The total capitalisation of 473 domestic and foreign companies listed on the GPW Main Market was PLN 1 348.0 billion (EUR 334.0 billion) at the end of April 2015. The total capitalisation at the end of April 2014. was PLN 910.9 billion (EUR 216.9 billion)
The companies Indata Software, Private Equity Managers, Idea Bank and Izo-Blok were newly listed on the GPW Main Market in April 2015. The total value of the new listings was nearly PLN 300 million in April 2015.
The companies Bio Planet, Hetan Technologies, Info Scan, Corelens and TrophyResort were newly listed on NewConnect in April 2015. The total value of the offerings was more than PLN 11.6 million in April 2015.
Bonds of the company Pozbud T&R were newly listed on Catalyst in April 2015. The value of the issue was PLN 50 million. Three series of Treasury eurobonds worth EUR 4.675 billion were newly listed in April 2015.
GPW held 20 trading sessions in April 2015, the same number as in April 2014.
