The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today published its annual review of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited’s (SEHK) performance in its regulation of listing matters during 2013 (Note 1).
The SFC is of the view that the operational procedures and decision-making processes reviewed during the period were appropriate to enable SEHK to discharge its statutory obligations to maintain an orderly, informed and fair market.
In the report released today, the SFC also identified certain areas for SEHK to continue to enhance its performance.

Note:
- In March 2004, the Government published its Consultation Conclusions on Proposals to Enhance the Regulation of Listing. Among other matters, the Government recommended that the SFC should prepare annual reports on its reviews regarding SEHK’s performance of its listing functions.
