Edward J. Joyce, CBOE President And COO, To Receive Anti-Defamation League Lifetime Achievement Award

Edward J. Joyce, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), will be honored for his philanthropic and corporate achievements with the Anti-Defamation League's Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday, November 30.
"The ADL is proud to bestow its Lifetime Achievement Award on this dynamic and accomplished executive for his remarkable achievements," Lonnie Nasatir, Regional Director of the ADL Greater Chicago/Upper Midwest Region, said. "Mr. Joyce is a highly regarded leader in Chicago's financial community and throughout his career has used his leadership role to promote fairness and opportunity to all. He truly embodies the highest qualities honored by the ADL."
Joyce, who has been actively involved in CBOE's civic and community programs including the United Way, Greater Chicago Food Depository, and the Working in the Schools (WITS) program, and personally with such organizations as the Knights of Columbus, was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the CBOE in June 2000 and has worked at CBOE for 35 years.Today, he serves on the Board of Directors of the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) and the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. He previously served on the Board of Directors of both the National Stock Exchange and OneChicago Exchange. He also is an advisory board member on the Illinois Council on Economic Education.
The Anti-Defamation League award ceremony will be held at the Chicago Hilton, 720 South Michigan Avenue.Dinner co-chairs include past honorees CBOE Chairman and CEO William J. Brodsky, Wayne Luthringshausen, Chairman of The Options Clearing Corporation, and Terrence A. Duffy, Executive Chairman of CME Group.
