Shares of the company Buwog have been newly listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange today. The issuer is the 455th company listed on the Main Market and the 10th new listing on the market in 2014. Buwog is also the 58th foreign company listed on WSE (including 48 companies listed on the Main Market) and the 3rd Austrian company.
Buwog, which manages and sells real estate together with its subsidiaries, was established in 2010 by Immofinanz, an Austrian company listed on Vienna Stock Exchange (since 1996) and Warsaw Stock Exchange (since 2013).
The share capital of Buwog was increased on 26 April 2014. The shares in the increased capital were taken up by the shareholders of Immofinanz in connection with the spin-off of a part of activities to Buwog. The shareholders received 1 share of Buwog for each 20 shares in the capital of Immofinanz. The spin-off of a part of activities derives from the implementation of different growth strategies: Immofinanz specialises in the management of commercial properties in Central and Eastern Europe while Buwog focuses on residential properties in Germany and Austria.
