The subscription period for the corporate bond issue from Ekosem-Agrar GmbH has closed early because of high demand for the bond. Since yesterday private and institutional investors had the opportunity to subscribe to the agricultural company’s new bond issue via Boerse Stuttgart’s Bondm segment for medium-sized enterprises. Sabine Traub, Head of the Primary Market Group at Boerse Stuttgart, said: “The subscription of Ekosem-Agrar’s second corporate bond was as successful as the first.
The total subscription volume of EUR 60 million was placed on the market within a very short time.”
Following the early closure of subscription for the Ekosem-Agrar bond at 10.45 CET on 26 November because the issue was heavily oversubscribed, trading (on a when-issued basis) started today, on Tuesday, 27 November. With a total issue volume of EUR 60 million, the bond issue from Ekosem-Agrar (ISIN DE000A1R0RZ5) matures in 2018 and has a coupon of 8.5 percent. It is the sixth issue in the Bondm trading segment for medium-sized enterprises in the current year. All bonds of medium-sized enterprises listed in Bondm are denominated in nominal units of EUR 1,000.
There are currently 24 corporate bonds with a total volume of around EUR 1.6 billion listed in the Bondm trading segment, which was launched in May 2010.
