Trading carried out through BM&FBOVESPA’s Home Broker trading platform registered the following market performance in September: A total trading volume of BRL30.01 billion, in comparison to BRL21.79 billion in August; an average daily volume of BRL1.36 billion, up from BRL1.04 billion in August; an average amount per trade of BRL9,352.15, down from BRL9,458.17 in the previous month; and a total number of 3.21 million trades averaging 145,849 trades per day, in comparison to 2.30 million and 109,730 in August, respectively.
The Home Broker trading platform was responsible for 12.87% of BM&FBOVESPA’s total financial volume in September, up from 9.28% in the previous month; it also accounted for 25.01% in the total number of trades, in comparison to 23.21% in August. The number of investors with offers reached 173,668 in September, up from 151,169 the month before, and the number of brokerage houses offering this service was 59 in September, down from 60 in August.
