BM&FBOVESPA is announcing new trading hours for the equity and derivative markets starting on March 14, due to the end of daylight saving time in Brazil and its onset in the United States.
As of March 14, regular hours for the continuous trading session on the Bovespa segment are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an after-market session from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. On the BM&F segment, the new trading hours for stock index contracts are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The following closing times for derivatives trading are also changing: trading in Arabica Coffee contracts closes at 2:35 p.m. (including rollover transactions), Soybeans at 2:45 p.m. and Cash-Settled Soybeans at 3 p.m. All these changes also come into force on March 14.
