Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) is partaking today Sunday the 12th of October in GITEX Technology Week 2014, which is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 12th - 16th. ADX is joining other Abu Dhabi government entities to display the latest in IT offerings from the Emirate. Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC), the government entity in charge of Abu Dhabi’s ICT agenda, has been charged by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council with hosting the entities on one stand delivering an experience for GITEX visitors that will show the depth and breadth of Abu Dhabi’s digital offering.
ADX will be offering various services at GITEX including: Issuing of Investor Numbers (INs), providing account statements for existing investors, updating investor information, performing Off Market Transfers, as well as answering general inquires from the public. ADX will also be highlighting its newest smart services.
Mr. Rashed Al Balooshi, CEO of ADX said, "ADX is participating in GITEX with the aim of introducing the visitors and the public with our latest services and initiatives that have been designed with the aim of providing an easier access to the market.” He added, "The ADX is meticulously working at converting our services we provide into smart services in the near future, making them investor focused and keeping track with the latest technological developments and continuously striving for excellence."
Al Balooshi reiterated: “Our stand provides a real opportunity for its visitors to be familiar with the smart solutions and apps provided by ADX and to test them live on the stand by accessing their investor accounts at ADX. Our participation alongside Abu Dhabi government entities in this year’s GITEX reflects integration between governmental bodies and institutions. This will be an example of the kind of joined up government that will contribute strongly in achieving the vision of Abu Dhabi 2030.”
