Dillon Gage Metals, international precious metals dealers in Dallas, will expand trading hours on FizTrade™, its electronic trading platform, to meet demand from U.S. and foreign wholesale customers. Hundreds of gold, silver, platinum and palladium coins and bars can be traded on the real-time electronic trading platform. To assist the client in managing their business, the platform uniquely provides detailed analytics on all electronic and phone-based trades.
Starting August 1, FizTrade trading hours will be expanded from the current 12 hours a day to 15 hours a day Monday through Thursday, and five hours of Sunday trading will be introduced. The new hours are:
Monday to Thursday – 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time
Friday – 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Central Time
Sunday – 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time
“We're expanding trading hours to 70 hours a week to provide a higher level of service to our domestic and international clients and are giving them access to Dillon Gage’s global supply chain through FizTrade.com,” Terry Hanlon, president of Dillon Gage Metals, explains. “In the last year, we've seen increased interest for longer hours from Asia, Europe and elsewhere.”
FizTrade.com is part of Dillon Gage Metals' Digital Metals platform and plugs clients directly into the company’s trading floor and fulfillment system through clients’ web browsers. FizTrade combines technology and trading to provide real-time spot prices and the ability to buy or sell internationally-recognized coins and bars in a few clicks. Trades can be made for delivery, or can be stored at one ofDillon Gage’s highly secured vault facilities operated by its subsidiaries International Depository Services in New Castle, DE, and Toronto, Canada. By utilizing Dillon Gage’s drop-ship and fulfillment services, clients are able to free up capital by reducing their need to maintain large inventories.
Access to FizTrade is available to Dillon Gage customers. Customers who choose to trade electronically on FizTrade receive the same competitive prices as when speaking to a Dillon Gage trader. Confirmations are sent immediately at the conclusion of the transaction, and both parties are bound to the trade. First-time wholesale clients need to complete an application, which can be found on DillonGage.com. After an account number has been assigned, users can log in and access real-time quotes on metals and products.
“We're responding to requests from our clients for longer trading hours,” Hanlon says. “And with the introduction of Sunday hours, we're giving our customers a jump on the week ahead.”
Dillon Gage’s highly experienced traders are available to help customers from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CT Monday through Thursday and from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT on Friday.
