The Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) has newly set up a Market Office this December. The new office is designed to improve the TSE's system for sales and marketing. The office will have a structure that is easily recognizable to outside parties in terms of presenting the TSE products and services. It will also promote user-oriented marketing activities in a cross-sectional manner.
In addition, the Market Office will function as a contact point if entities such as securities companies, financial institutions, and institutional investors are unclear as to with which section of the TSE they should conduct business. It will provide support by acting as an intermediary between those parties and the various sections of the TSE.
