Below are key highlights for the week ending 18 July 2014 (please click on the attachment for further detail):
- The SFI gained 0.17% to 118.31.
- YTD, the STI currently outperforms the SFI by 1.68%.
- The SFI's gains this week was largely attributed to the performance of government bonds (+0.21%), as represented by the SFI Government Bond Index.
- The SFI Corporate Bond Index also continues to advance this week (+0.12%), largely on the back of corporate financial bonds (+0.17%), as represented by the SFI Financial Bond Index.
- YTD, 51 new issuances with a combined market value of over S$10 billion have been included in the SFI. By market value, 54% are corporate bonds, 25% are statutory board bonds and 21% are government bonds.
