New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) announced today the issue of $121 million debt securities for Generator Bonds Limited (GTR) on the NZDX market.
NZX Head of Products Geoff Brown said the NZDX continued to perform strongly, with total trade numbers and the total amount of value traded well above the levels this time last year.

Total capital raised up until the end of August on the NZDX market was $1.42 billion, $321 million more than the capital raised in the same period in 2005. Trading numbers have also increased from 2005; there have been 20,874 trades on the NZDX market until the end of August compared to 17,628 during the same period for 2005.
The Generator Bonds will be quoted on the NZDX Market under the security code MCB010 from 10am today.
