Trade on the inter-bank market is processed and guaranteed in the dedicated module, otc_clearing, developed by KDPW_CCP in co-operation with Poland’s biggest banks operating on the inter-bank market.

Platts Report: China Oil Demand Climbed 5.4% Year Over Year In April - Growth Driven By Increased Demand For Lighter Distillates
China's apparent oil demand* in April increased 5.4% from a year earlier to 42.89 million metric tons (mt), or an average 10.48 million barrels per day (b/d), according to a just-released Platts analysis of Chinese government data.

Office of Financial Research Update: Systemwide Commonalities In Market Liquidity
The OFR released a working paper today:
Systemwide Commonalities in Market Liquidity identifies hidden liquidity regimes (high, medium and low) across a broad range of financial markets that can be used for characterizing periods of market stress and identifying underlying predictors of liquidity shocks. This regime might have allowed for meaningful predictions up to 15 trading days in advance of the 2008 financial crisis. These methods offer a potential framework for monitoring and predicting a systemwide collapse in market liquidity, which could signal a collapse of liquidity in the funding markets and a broader financial crisis.

Notice Of Letter Of Arrangement Between The Office Of The Superintendent Of Financial Institutions And The Ontario Securities Commission
The Ontario Securities Commission recently entered into a Letter of Arrangement with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), for purposes of facilitating the OSC receiving from OSFI the derivatives data reports required under the exemptive relief granted by the OSC to certain Canadian Banks, under decisions dated December 17, 2014. Under the Letter of Arrangement, the authorities have agreed that, for administrative purposes, the Canadian Banks will submit the reports to OSFI and that, upon receipt, OSFI will send the reports to the OSC.
