ICAP Energy, the energy and commodities business of ICAP plc, announces today that Todd Creek, President of ICAP Energy and Commodities, has been appointed by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to its Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee (EEMAC). Todd is an Associate Member appointed by CFTC Commissioner J. Christopher Giancarlo and approved by the Commission, effective immediately.

The CFTC Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee was created in 2008 to advise the Commission on important new developments in energy and environmental futures and swaps markets that may raise new regulatory issues, and the appropriate regulatory response to ensure market integrity and competition, and protect consumers. Commissioner J. Christopher Giancarlo sponsors the committee.
