Erik Penser Fondkommission was previously a member of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, from May 1999 to May 2003. The Exchange’s equity market now has 48 member firms, of which 26 are Danish members and 22 are remote members.
Erik Penser Fondkommission is already a member of the exchanges in Stockholm and Helsinki.
Jan Ovesen, Deputy President of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, says, ”We are very pleased to welcome back a customer and see it as an indication that the introduction of our Nordic membership at the beginning of the year was the right initiative.”
OMX’s Nordic membership grants a member that trades on one exchange access to trading on the other two exchanges without further monthly or annual fees being payable. Instead of being a member of one exchange, the member becomes a member of three exchanges and will be able to operate more easily across the Nordic borders.
The business activities of Erik Penser Fondkommission comprise both business and investments on behalf of private and institutional clients as well as asset management, equity market analyses, corporate finance and listing of structured products. The headquarters of Erik Penser Fondkommission are located in Stockholm and from here they will be linked up with the trading system via their new membership of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
