CMS WebView plc And Gains International Announce Ground-Breaking Strategic Business Partnership

Date 28/01/2002

CMS WebView plc, the AIM listed wholesale futures and options data provider, and Gains International, an international provider of managed bandwidth services in financial markets, today announced a ground-breaking strategic business partnership.

Under the terms of the partnership CMS WebView plc (CMS) will utilise managed bandwidth capacity provided by Gains International (Gains) to enable international distribution of its wholesale digital data feed (DDF) of real-time futures and options information.

CMS will use the agreement to establish communications nodes in key financial centres from where it will market DDF directly to local quote vendor and investment companies. Singapore will be the first centre targeted under the terms of this partnership.

The agreement also builds upon the longstanding business relationship in which Gains act as the provider of trans-Atlantic bandwidth for CMS's real-time data services. Bob Antell, CEO of CMS WebView plc commented: "CMS is delighted to enter into a partnership with Gains International. The company has a strong track-record providing bandwidth services in the demanding area of financial markets and this is ideally suited to our requirements for robust and reliable delivery of real-time data."

Barry Purkis, Commercial Director of Gains International said: "The partnership with CMS offers Gains an exciting opportunity to expand the provision of its managed bandwidth services for institutions involved in the supply and use of real-time financial information."
