Shenzhen Stock Exchange: Transition And Upgrading Fuels Performance Growth For SME board-listed Companies In 2014
China’s economy development has entered into the phase of “New Normal”, and steady growth, mode transferring, structure adjustment have become the main vocal of economic work. USPTO Invalidates CBOE Patents
The Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) today issued three decisions in response to petitions filed by ISE to invalidate three CBOE patents (US Patent Nos. 7,356,498, 7,980,457 and 8,266,044). The PTAB agreed with ISE and found that all three patents are invalid. These patents formed the basis of litigation that CBOE brought against ISE in the case of Chicago Board Options Exchange, Incorporated v. International Securities Exchange, LLC (Case No. 1:13-cv-01339-JMF), the proceedings in which have been stayed pending the outcome of the PTAB review.

CBOE Holdings Reports February 2015 Trading Volume
CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) reported today that average daily volume (ADV) during February for options contracts on Chicago Board Options Exchange® (CBOE®) and C2 Options ExchangeSM (C2SM) and futures contracts on CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE®) was 4.7 million contracts, a decrease of 22 percent from February 2014 and a decline of 13 percent from January 2015.

New York State Department of Financial Services: Revised BitLicense Regulatory Framework
In accordance with the New York State Administrative Procedures Act (SAPA), the revised proposed DFS rules for virtual currency businesses have been published in the New York State Register's February 25, 2015 edition, which begins a 30-day public comment period. To view a copy of these revised proposed rules please visit here. These revised proposed rules for DFS virtual currency businesses reflect comments received by the Department pursuant to the SAPA process in response to the proposed rules published in the July 23, 2014 edition of the New York State Register. OCC Announces Cleared Contract Volume Declined 13% In February
OCC announced today that total cleared contract volume in February was 306,531,839 contracts, a 13 percent decrease from the February 2014 volume of 350,507,077 contracts. OCC's year-to-date average daily cleared contract volume is down 9 percent from 2014 with 17,049,163 contracts.

Ontario Securities Commission Announces Results Of Enforcement Activity In 2014
Recognizing the importance of a strong and visible enforcement presence to public confidence in the capital markets, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) continued to make targeted investments in its enforcement program in 2014. Staff commenced an increased number of quasi-criminal and criminal proceedings, enhanced the OSC’s forensics capabilities and strengthened its alliances with police services. By expanding its partnerships and bolstering its enforcement toolkit, the OSC made advancements in detecting, investigating and prosecuting misconduct.
