CME Group Announces Plans To Offer Ex-Pit Transactions Through ClearPort - New CME ClearPort Application Programming Interface (API) And Graphical User Interface (GUI) Launched
CME Group, the world’s largest and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced it will expand its CME ClearPort service to offer clearing for CME and CBOT ex-pit transactions. CME ClearPort is a set of flexible clearing services open to over-the counter (OTC) market participants to substantially mitigate counterparty risk and provide neutral valuations across asset classes.

FINRA Fines Terra Nova Financial $400,000 - Firm Made Over $1 Million In Improper Soft Dollar Payments - Three Former Employees Also Sanctioned
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) today announced that it has fined Terra Nova Financial, LLC, of Chicago, $400,000 for making more than $1 million in improper soft dollar payments to or on behalf of five hedge fund managers, without following its own policies to ensure the payments were proper.

In the four quarters of 2008 a total of 2,926 institutional investors worldwide have reported using one or more ETFs. Over the past 11 years, the number of institutional users has increased 1,673%. This represents a CAGR of 29.9%.

Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Board Approves Temporary Easement Of Dual Listing and Maintenance Rules - Minimum Market Cap $6 Million For NASDAQ Capital Market Firms
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) Board of Directors adopted resolutions on 5 November 2009 to amend criteria for dually listing shares traded on the NASDAQ Capital Market list and for transference of thinly-traded companies to the ‘maintenance list’. These new criteria will be valid for six months (until 30/4/2010).
