FORTS: New Trading Record In Brent Futures Contract

On February 5, 2010 trading in the Brent futures contract reached a value of USD65 million (RUB1,937,502,569) or 89,876 contracts, by the end of the main trading session. The number of trades with this contract now totals 3,067.
The previous record was registered on January 28, 2010 when the trading volume in the Brent futures contract reached a value of USD55million (RUB1,678,424,702) or 76,323 contracts.
